Star Wars

Over the early part of January, I set up a small studio where I could play indoors.  And finding some Lego and old Star Wars Figures I decided to make a snow studio box to shoot some fun shots in.

In these shots the falling “Snow” is baking soda, whereas the stuff on the ground is cream of tartar, with some polystyrene ripped up for rocks.

My first setup also used a free Frozen lego figure “Olaf” the snowman.  Who I imagined was being built from some off duty stormtroopers.

Next I combined a Star Wars Figures Scout Vechile with some lego figures.  The cockpit of the vechile I lit up by placing some LED lights inside.

This next one has the falling snow.  Which was frozen by flash as I shook a tea strainer full of baking soda over the scene.

And the last one I have so far done is Luke Skywalker in his Hoff outfit.  With a little Topaz Glow on his lightsabre 🙂
