Couple of Flies

I went with hope to find a wide variety of bugs at Blashford Lakes on Sunday afternoon.   Unfortunately the weather cooled on arrival and despite looking hard, found little to take.  A small crab spider ran off under a leaf as I got close to it, so all I ended up keeping from the afternoon was a couple of flies.

The first is another St Mark’s fly – of which I took some last week.

This time I got in closer – the first is about 2.5x magnification ( and cropped ) – the second is not cropped about 3.5x magnification.

The other fly is a smallish flat one.  That I have yet to Id.
