Dragon and Damselfly Face Shots

Continuing on from the early May Damselfly portraits, I was fortunate enough to find some more co-operative damselflies and some newly emerged Dragonflies to take some extreme closeups of again at the end of May and early June.

Firstly the Dragonflies so as not to be immediately repetitive from the previous post.

The first three dragonfly face portraits are stacked images.

The Black-tailed Skimmer shortly after the last shot was taken flew onto my brothers diffusing material on his flash gun head.  Where it posed long enough for this shot of it there.

And then onto the damselfly face photos.  All these are single shot macro images.
