MPE Moth by Gordon Zammit

I again, have the pleasure of publishing some stunning macro shots of a moth, taken recently by photographer Gordon Zammit.

These images of a possible Clearwing Moth, ( any other suggestions as to its identification would be appreciated ) were taken on the Canon MPE-65mm.  Gordon found the moth and took it indoors for these images.

This first image gives you an indication of scale as it is taken on his finger.

The following images are all single images – and show impressive detail in the moth.

I've been taking macro photography from 2004. I use both Canon film and digital cameras.
