Incense Refraction

Today I had a play with some indoor macro photography.  I decided to shoot some refraction shots through some drops on glass.  The drops (of glycerine) I placed via a syringe on a lens filter.

I then held the filter, with a Plamp Clamp, above an Incense bottle, which was on coloured card below the filter.  The camera was then postitioned over the filter on a tripod, and the shot taken using the in built camera self timer,  after first focusing using live view.

These are my favourite two results from today, after some processing with Topaz Denoise, Restyle and Effects.
