All the Small Things

Having been visiting Blashford Lakes recently with the MPE-65mm, I have built up quite a collection of images, that I am slowly getting ready to publish.  This set of images features a variety of some of the small insects that I taken there in the past few weeks.

First up a tiny Bee that was having fun getting nectar in a small yellow dandelion flower.  This bee was about 1cm long at the most.

It stayed in this position and I was able to get a two shot handheld stack of it.  Stacked in Helicon Focus.

It the seemed to want to scratch an itch.

Before popping up to say hello…

Hello!

Not all the insects were apparently please to be photographed though – especially this micro moth.

And some did not seem to notice, as they were otherwise engaged.

Whereas others just wandered about, till the leaves ran out.

And some just lazed about.
