Canford Magna Assortment

I took a visit to the Stour river that runs from Canford Magna towards Wimborne, last Sunday afternoon.  The warm weather bringing the bugs to life.  Some Chasers were about, but along with a pair of new Small-Tortoiseshell Butterflies, they were not sitting around.  However there were some more co-operative Damsels and Demoiselles, along with a an assortment of other bugs to take photos of.   I traveled with just the Canon 100mm macro lens one the day, and although I debated not attaching it the MT-24ex macro flash, which proved useful for some flies and bees.

The following pictures are my pick from the afternoon walk.

Firstly some Demoiselles.
