Rain and Sun by the Stour.

Visited the path that goes via the River Bank for the first time at White Mill, with my brother (his images from the trip on his website here), on 19th May.  It was originally raining and the overhanging trees on this side provided some nice shelter from the worst of the rain. It also landed on this Large Red Damselfly, and the reflection caught a nice blue glow in the droplet.  The damselfly images are processed with Topaz Clarity, which I recently acquired from them.  Looks a quite promising bit of software.  I use Topaz Adjust and Denoise quite a bit, so as this new software was on offer I got it after a quick play and wanting to save the results.

Anyhow onto the Damselfly images…

The other image of note was this weevil eating sheild bug – which I believe to be a Arma Custos.

Car park is here - photos taken from fields along the river, just past the Mill.

I've been taking macro photography from 2004. I use both Canon film and digital cameras.
