Migrant Hawkers at Ramsdown

A visit to Ramsdown in the afternoon to look for Darters & Migrant Hawkers on the 4th September, proved unsuccessful for darters – they just would not pose, but I did manage to find some obliging Migrant Hawkers on the path near the A338 from the pond.  Before I discovered them though I shot a small red ant on some rhododendrons after a small shower.

Here is the shot.

Now onto those obliging hawkers, first one that was hanging on some gorse, which also stayed around for a nice close up shot too.
