Roydon Woods

Took a trip on Saturday 17th May 2010 to Roydon Woods in the New Forest, mainly to shoot some landscape shots of the bluebells, but I took along my macro gear as well to capture any bugs out there.

Not too much in way of bugs out there, but did find a small moth perched on a leaf, and a largish weevil running around a plant.  All shots taken on the Canon MPE-65mm on my 50D.

Moth on Leaf  ( I don’t think this is quite focused correctly on the eye). at 1:1.5x
