Bluebells at Garston Wood

A visit on an overcast Saturday to Garston Wood in Dorset, saw the bluebells out in full force.  This really is an excellent place to visit to see carpets of bluebells at this time of year.

I experimented with abstract shots at F2.8 as the days was fairly windy.  The best of which ( to me anyway ) is shown below.  I found it harder than I first imagined to get the full shot out of focus.

Both these shots were taken on my 100mm F2.8 Canon macro lens.  The shot below is more of a typical flower macro portrait, taken at F4.5

I've been taking macro photography from 2004. I use both Canon film and digital cameras.
